The Equity Symposium is an opportunity to learn from each other with a focus on racial equity. Our colleagues from Highline and beyond will present on a range of topics to challenge us to deepen our capacity for equity.
All staff will attend two sessions:
An All-Staff Anti-Bias Training
Additionally, staff will select an Elective session
Participants in this session will engage in learning activities that directly address racial bias in the workplace and schools. Specifically, readings and activities will address how students and staff experience racism in school settings. This session is designed as an affinity group for staff of color.
